- "Portable" for mains only! This variant employs two 25L6 with filaments in series instead of two 50L6 in parallel. Both configurations add result in 50 Volts and 300 Milliamps. But in case of a broken filament the other power tube is safe, while in the parallel connection the other tube will almost immediately burn out too.
