| Notes | The Philco model 48-1001 television was introduced in 1948. It has an 8-channel turret tuner with plug-in coils, so that any 8 of the available channels 1-13 could be selected. A unique design feature is a dual 300 ohm antenna input, intended for separate antennas for the VHF low and VHF high bands. Model 48-1001-5 is identical to model 48-1001 except that it has a power supply designed for 50 Hz AC power. Model 48-1000 (table model), 48-1050 (console), and 48-2500 (projection console) were introduced in 1947 and had similar chassis design. |
