Fellow Radiophiles,

Ebay seller "looking4us" has kindly consented to the posting of the very nice photos for auction 250634262017.

This interesting Automobile FM converter is one of several FM converters that came on the market around 1959-62, that used 12V directly at the tube plates. The ECC86 front end tube was essential to make operation possible with 12V at FM frequencies.

A competing FM Converter at the time was the Granco ARC60.

Regards,

-Joe
