Notes
Coverage: 0.545-2, 2-7.5, 7.5-30.5 MHz, AM/CW (BFO), G- means Grey cabinet, also a version with a maroon cabinet was reportedly produced, the Hallicrafters S-41G (gray) and S-41W (white) are electrically and mechanically identical to the EC-1A/B with the main differences being color and knob style and were produced in 1945 just prior to the introduction of the S38
EC-1A , die beiden grossen Drehknöpfe sind evtl. nicht original erhalten.
Gehäusedeckel abgenommen.

Bandspreizung (Feinabstimmung); BFO; Noise Limiter; Originalpreis $33,50, das Gerät wurde auch als Echophone EC-1A (nicht zu verwechseln mit EC-1) für $29,50 verkauft (siehe Bild). Um Verwechslungen zu vermeiden: Echophone EC-1 und EC-1B haben frontseitig zwei Schiebeschalter, nur der EC-1A und Hallicrafters S-41 besitzen vier davon. lt.Moore stammt auch der EC-1B von 1945 (Manual).
Mein EC-1A hat induktive Bandspreizung.
