A completely original set in excellent condition.
The top chassis has the five RF stages in their completely sealed sub-chassis, plus the indirectly heated grid detector. The bottom chassis (which is extremely heavy) has the audio section and the rectifier.
Tuning is achieved by rotating the knob, which results in a lateral displacement of the knob and of the pointer. All four tuning capacitors are ganged together, with cams that can be adjusted in frequent intervals for good tracking.
