  • Bemerkung

  • This model "5-Tube Super 1934-1935" has not to be confused with the 5-tube TRF from 1924. By the way: It has a band pass filter before the 1st det which gives it a better selectivity than ordinary 5 tube receivers - and it has AVC with a diode. If you look at the pic of the back of the set, you will notice it has two knobs. The left hand knob is the band switch control, and tunes the radio between AM Broadcast, and the old Police Band. The dial is not marked off for the Police Band. The right hand knob is for the Tone Control.

    This radio was made in the Gilfillan factory in Los Angeles, California, USA.  The same radio chassis was used in radios sold under the Gilfillan and Golden Bear brands.  Gilfillan Models 32, 35, 41, 5-C, 5-T, 510 and 520 used this chassis.
