A DC-coupled two channel operational amplifier plug-in with an additional DC coupled Y-amplifier for use with any 560-series scope of Tektronix.
This scope series was invented in 1960 and produced until the 70ties. Most 560 main frames support one X- and one Y-plugin. The Y-amplifier deflection coefficient of this plugin is: 0,02/0,05/0,1/0,2/0,5/1/2/5/10 V/div, Bandwidth DC-3,5 MHz. The operational amplifiers include switchable capacitors and resistors at the feedback network. This makes it possible to use the operational amplifier without external components as linear amplifier, integrator or differentiator. A DC feedback circuit stabilizes the DC-component of the output voltage when the operational amplifier is used as integrator. An additional array of connectors can be used to connect external components to the operational amplifier. This opens a wide field of applications like: Integrators for magnetic core analysis, control circuits, filters, logarithmic amplifiers, Gating-amplifier/integrator, leakage current measurements at diodes/transistors, voltage to current and vice versa converters, comparators, peak value rectifiers, funktion generators, curve tracers, arbitary generators, component tests and much more. Like the most 560 plug-ins it can be used at the y- and at the x-slot of the main oscilloscope or it can be operated together with the type 129 plugin-power-supply.
