Vacuum diode in which the current is controlled by magnetic field applied from outside. Typical operation as magnetic field linear sensor:

• 150 V anode
• 6 kohms load
• 0 to 11 mA anode current, 30 mA max
• 100 to 50 gauss magnetic field range
• 2 mA per gauss sensitivity.

The tube may be operated as magnetically controlled switch. Typical operating conditions:

• 100 V anode voltage
• 100 ohms load
• 1.6 W plate dissipation
• 14 to 30 mA anode current at 50 gauss, falls to 0.2 mA at 70 gauss.
