Description

As with other UK Amplion tubes/valves, this is a re-branded item.

Metropolitan-Vickers using the Cosmos brand were the main source for Amplion and this AMR6/9 is probably one of the SP (short path) tubes. See for example the SP18RR. The Amplion box for this tube has the words "short path".

The date is 1925 or 1926.
