Descripción

The first high-power magnetron, developed since 1940. Used in some productions of gun-laying microwave radar sets, the GL3(B) Radar No 3 Mk 2. Still unstrapped, it was soon replaced by CV120.

150 kW peak, 75 W average, pulsed magnetron operating in S-band. 10-segment anode.

  • 25 kV at 40 A input pulses, 1 MW
  • 170 kW out pulse power
  • 15% efficiency

Three frequency selections available:

  • A suffix = 10.56cm wavelenght
  • B suffix = 10.70cm
  • C suffix = 10.84cm
