In the 1990s, I began collecting German Tabletop radios (back when shipping was not so expensive). I used to have about 50. I've reduced my collection to about 20. I also collect vintage amplifiers and have a number of Soundmaster amplifiers manufactured in Ottawa, Canada. I want to share information (including photos and schematics) I possess on these items. I also have a large collection of radio and amplifier tubes. I have test equipment manuals that may also be of interest to members. As for texts I rely on in my hobby, I use 'Tube Lore, a reference for users and collectors' by Ludwell Sibley. I also rely on 'Electronic Fundamentals circuits, devices, and applications' by Thomas L. Floyd. My primary reason for rejoining (I was a member long ago) is to share information on Soundmaster Equipments. I inherited much of the materials from that company when it closed and I will post information (including schematics) on various models I have in my possession (086, 085, 600, 700, 050, 088) |
