philco: 41-280X vs 41-280XF

Hello,

I see there are two entries for the 41-280. I just picked one up for restoration and was wonder what the difference is between the two for purposes of schematics and electrical restoration. The schematics look the same (unless I missed something).

Hello Ross,

I'll try to explain the difference to you.
Take a look at the ==> data sheet from Philco.
There you can find the following note, among other things:

X - Console with Inclined Sounding Board
XF - Console, inclined control panel, vertical sounding board (1938-40)

Here the pictures should be rearranged because all pictures show the same model in both models
41-280XF  and   41-280X .
