This is a wonderful radio! I just completed restoration. One thing to be aware of is; You notice from under chassis picture, the power transformer is covered with melted tar from heat. If the electro caps are a bit shorted, the filter resistor next to transformer gets very, very hot. That heat causes melt down of transformer...its not the transformer over heating.   Good luck to all..........AL
