The P57 was acquired through eBay auction for US$ 23.50 plus US$ 25.98 shipping, $49.48 total. Item # 372304847449

As received, the radio was not operational and was missing the 3V4 audio output tube. Replaced the missing tube, paper tubular capacitors and all but one of the electrolytic capacitors. Repaired a damaged RADIO/CHARGE slide switch, which had been sprung apart. The radio now works as I remember the one my family had in the 1950's.

Dear Jean,

Thank you for this information. I took the liberty and removed the link to the ebay auction - as you might know, within months the page will be of no use, first the images go, then the page will redirect to the general ebay page etc.

On the model page you have the opportunity to enter a collector price via "Uploads & questions" -> "Collector Price upload"; there you can also specify the condition the set was in and add remarks pertaining to the sales/auction. This is meant to give neutral information from the point of view of the ongoing auction, i.e. what information was available before you got the set into your hands.

Thanks and best regards
Mark
