Cathem Ltd.

Cathem limited is (was?) a manufacturer of cathodes, probably the last remaining part of the electron gun operation that kept Blackburn Microtech in business for some time. One of their customers was Europes last cathode ray tube manufacturer, CRT B.V. in Heerlen (also formerly part of Philips) that closed down in 2012. Other customers might include or have included manufacturers of electron microscopes and Roentgen tubes.
