A friend gave me some old tubes.  I think they are rare enough that I wanted to share them with the board.  Let me know if further pictures would be helpful

 

 

Tube 1:
Envelope: Clear tubular with beak on top
Marked (etched) “E.R. 50 5549
Base Brass
Pins short UV style
Bottom lathe turned bakelite with “S” embossed in center

Assume this is an an “Electron Relay” made by “moorehead laboratories”.  Might be long anode version of gas triode.

Tube 2:
Envelope:bottle shape with gold and rainbow color.
Glass beak on top
Marked (ink?) GE logo on glass
Marked paper decal with Cunningham “C”
Base brass
Pins short UV style
Bottom Ceramic with “32” in center
Base marked on 1 side
CUNNINGHAM

Assume this is the Cunningham version of the UV-201A

1.Glass Envelope: tubular with red color (nearly opaque)
2. No markings on glass
3. Brass base
4. Bottom paper
5. Pins short UV style
6. Base marked:
Le De Luxe
Vn. (?) 11
D’ Amplification

Assume this is a triode tube made by “Le Radion” in Chicago.  


Tube 4
Envelope: glass bottle with beak silver color
Paper RCA meatball label
Etched with W in circle with “W.L. Co.” below “W”
Brass base
Ceramic bottom with “24” embossed in center
Base marked 1st side
    RADIOTON
    MODEL UV 201 A
    PATENTED

Base marked 2nd side

Hello Max,

Nice find! These are some seriously early tubes. 

I am particularly intrigued by the Le Radion one, as we don't seem to have it listed here on radiomuseum.org.

The only tubular valve by that company that I can find is this one:

Could you maybe supply us with more detailed pictures of the tube and its label? We might have either a new tube here, or at least a new package. All other documented types are tennis ball-shape.
