The British Vintage Wireless and Television Museum was originally Gerry Well's home. He lived in the Museum.
There is a book about his life called "Obsession", available from BVWS.

Gerry Wells 1929 - 2014
We regret to inform you that after a short stay in hospital, Gerry Wells died late on the 22nd December.
As usual at this time of year, the Museum is closed to visitors (although manned daily) over the Christmas period.
Further arrangements will be communicated as they become known.

Gerry Wells was much loved and an inspiration to the UK Vintage collectors that knew him.
