Hello,

One of my hobby's is restoring Graetz Radio's from the years around 1955.

They are so well build and nice to restore. Right now I am busy with a Sinfonia 4R/422. Radio has a problem I would like your advice. The Radio scale on the FM is compressed and does not match the scale description anymore. Normally the FM scale runs from 88-100Mhz but on this Radio (and I have seen it 3 times before) the scale runs from 88 to+-107Mhz. The Radio was not modified at all before, it came with a pile of dust of 55 years. I noticed that if I turn C24 Capacitor there is no effect at all. Normally it would bring the scale in sync with the needle. Also tried to replace C27 and C26 but without success. Now before I replace all without success I wonder if one of you do know a solution for this problem.

Thanks and with Graetz greetings!

Sierd Dijkstra

Your radio is an American model!

Essentially, all you need to do is replace defective parts, and usually an alignment isn't necessary.

You are fortunate to have a radio that is able to receive the whole FM spectrum
