Maybe there is a FAQ somewhere, but I can't find it. Not even something in German. But I'm unsure of what the proper procedure to put "bids" on RMorg market adverts.

Hallo Michael, if You have seen something that might be of interest to You in the market, You might use the "Answer" function or even better the "Mail to Author" function like in normal forum texts to contact the seller.

There is no online auction function where You can place bids on our site. Sometimes the price is fixed, sometimes, You find a "price to discuss" remark there (which might be the case most often), so just write an email to the seller and declare what You are willing to pay for an item.

Kind regards Martin Boesch

Thanks, I had an email from Georg Richter too.

I understand now that what I was asked to to do doesn't exist as such. No wonder I was confused.

Dear all,

I'm confused as well.
As there is a multiply choice "highest bid" I believed the buyers will show their
bids using the "Answer" function.
The seller and all others interested would be informed. "how much is the fish".
How else "highest bid" should work ?

I went for it (for the first time) to give the registered users of RMorg a first chance / choice;
before what's left goes to Ebay or flee markets.

Best Regards

Werner

 Edit it is not "how much it is the fish" , I believe..
