Hallo Peter,

Bernhard

Dear Peter
The model admins reject or should reject only with good reasons given.
Can you please tell me the reasons named when you received the automatic eMail?

Most often it is an already existing model or very insufficient data, no given reasons for the model.

If a model is similar to one existing in the database then one has to give good reasons why the new model should be accepted. The same thing if a model is very incomplete.
Sometimes one can only give maker, model-name and maybe year. But then it is well done to give the source (there are fields for that).

I don't know what was the reasons but I would like to clear that case. Please help me. Thank you.
Cordially,
Ernest

Dear  Peter
I gave you a general answer before I could see post 5 and 6 (I had my post too long in the editor because of other work in between).

I know now the case by now:
I'm sorry that the message from Bernhard Nagel suggested that you (or somebody) should create the model - and Bernhard Nagel then created it himself without telling that he has done so. We can now learn on this case how important crystal clear signals are and how important the following up is in a thread, telling what is the last state of an action or so - often only a "thank you".

On the other hand one can see now why, from the beginning on, I constructed the site with having foreseen two admins to check - and we see that they do the job well. This as a positive sign.
It is always very necessary t look up if a model does really not exist - and there is still the possibility that it is already pending within the link "Administrators" - but a very seldom case.

Now I'm looking forward to your pictures and hope you are not too dissatisfied about this. Admins have told me that the reason was given.

By the way:
On an export model it would be much better to have the notes in English - even more important than in German. Since made in Germany German can ALSO be admitted.

Hello Ernst

Yes, no worries.  I see now what has happened, thank you.

I did not initially understand the term used to explain the reason.

My mistake!

Peter
