Does anyone know what the difference(s) are between the model 562 and 562E, if any?  My model has the same physical appearance of the 562 but has the letter E, slightly offset, on the back of the radio.

The diagram inside references model 562x which leads me to believe that other models may have existed with a different letter after the 562.

Any information would be appreciated.
Thanks, Howard

Maybe the designation "E" is a hint for an export model, just compare the wave bands from your radio with the existing one. Usually, for the U.S. there is no long wave reception provided.

And please create a new model page for your Ostfold 562E, the schematic can be shown there.
