Power Cord of AC/DC Receivers

Line-cords of AC/DC sets often have the resistor necessary for tube heating included.

Sometimes, also the pilot lamp is connected to this resistance wire.

This should be kept in mind if the line-cord of an AC/DC set has to be replaced. Additionally, also the asbestos in the covering today is regarded as a problem.
