What model anode battery does this radio use?  I have a 1959 Pertrix catalog that lists all of their available batteries, but none seem to match what this radio takes.

Maybe this will has to be posted in German if there is no answer within a week.

You can just change language in the editor and write it in German plus a Google-translation ...

Most persons speak only one language and have therefore reduced their selection to German only (or to English only ;-).

Hallo:

Dear Bill
I just trid to help when I wrote this in June.  I hoped somebody will see it and answer.

Now I think it is time to bring this in German - you seem to manage ;-)
But if you post it here on this thread which has the flag for English then probably most German speaking members will not see because they will have opted out other languages.

Therefore please begin a new thread and since you sure have RMorg in English then you change language in the WYWIWYG-editor (Forum editor) just above the title. This first post will tell the language (flag) for the whole thread. Post again from the model page - the same words you used here ... is fair enough.

But I think it is just a general battery for 90 volts plus the incorporated DEAC ni-cd-accumulator. Be careful that the accumulator does not leak ... Fortunately I took mine out of a similar radio Lord 900 from Loewe which I bought when I was about 20 years old as my first newly bought radio ;-)

Thanks Ernst--I've since reposted the same request in German with a German language listing.

I thought it would be a standard 90 volt battery also, but the battery compartment is very large, and I wonder if it used a bigger battery.

The accumulator was pulled out a long time ago, so I'll be making a repro using Kurt  Köhler 's circuit.

Dear Bill

Yes, fine this should probably get an answer since many more from the country of origin of this model will see your post.

Yes, to emulate the accumulator is a good idea but the current consumption might drive you to use the set on the mains - or do you want to go out with it?

By the way:
If you copy a text you drop it with the pictogram with a "T" above and that will give you plain text.
Like this it may be too large etc. - but leave it as it is - everybody can read what you ask. there are a few who have made batteries like this also with modern devices - either Batteries or an electronic circuit with some batteries. Mostly done with a near original design. I think there is some examples in the forum.

I'll contact Kurt and have him post it.  It's his idea, and I think credit should go to him.
