sony: SONY TR-623

Hello to all,

 

Please help with this model.

 

I need information about battery that fit this model. My set comes without battery holder.

Please provide information which size of batteries fits this model.

For a first step, pictures of the interior shows the empty room where a battery holder might fit. Please upload them, thank you.

At the back cover there is also an engraving (stamped into the plastic) stating the proper batteries.
Here at the model its not clear visible ... My guess tends to 3x AA batteries since the radio is 70mm in width. The AA battery has about 50 mm in length. What is stated at your back cover?

Mr. Nagel is right, there are 3 pieces of PENLIGHT AA, 1.5V batteries inside.

Thank you both for your responses. Penlight batteries are probably nowdays AA format. Am I right?

I' ve tried to mount 3*AA battery holder but it is to big for this set. Now I will scrape away battery holder to mount in this set.
I will let you know results.
