Hi folks,
I wonder if there is anyone that came across (owned or ever used or seen) an old oscilloscope that goes by the name of TECH  Model TO-2  (picture of the front panell attached).

I've been searching  (for a number of weeks now) all over the net but could not find any info about it whatsoever. Not even pictures.  I know that over here on Radiomuseum there is a TECH Model TO-3 (bube based) oscilloscope presented but nothing about TO-2.

At this point I'm thinking that maybe also been marketed under different brand name and/or type number?

Any help with schematic diagram, info, pointers etc is much appreciated.

Kind regards

Ovi

TECH instruments were often rebranded and sold under some importer's brand name. Sometimes they kept Tech's model number, sometimes the importer used his own model designation. When working with suspect rebranded instruments, one clue for identification is that the mains transformer often is marked with Tech's model number.

For example, many Tech instruments were sold under the Lafayette brand in the USA, and i've got a CRT tester which i suspect is made by Tech but its branded by the swedish importer PR-Teknik.

Looks like a model used in UK schools in 1960s which would have had a branding of company suppling the UK education market. I forget who they were. One was Griffen, but they may have rebadged Scopex which are maybe too fancy! Also the only Scopex I find are 1970s and this is probably 1960s.
Bell & Howell might also have used the T0-2
Might also have been sold as a Conrad in Germany.

It would certainly have been for school use, not a repair shop or test lab.

I own the same oscilloscope that I have restored. Unfortunately, I don't have a circuit diagram, but the circuit is quite simple. For example, there's no Y amplifier, and the CRT is driven asymmetrically. I've just added it as a new model in the museum.
