? unidentified telefunken, help in identyfication
Hello everyone, some time ago I bought a Telefunken radio receiver. I wanted to repair it but I can't identify the model. I haven't found its diagram either. The only thing I have determined is that it is probably a telefunken exported or manufactured outside Germany. Receiver uses electron tubes: urdox EUVI, cl4, cy1, ef11, ebf11, ech11.

I would guess that it is produced in Denmark for the danish market. At the underside of the chassis there are several danish-made paper capacitors (probably Janko or some similar brand), and i would not be surprised if the small electrolytics are from Hellesens (and completely dried out now). The big chassis-mounted electrolytic is probably replaced, it looks like a Philips post-war part and i think the wiring to it is plastic insulated and more recent than the rest of the set.
The flat-blade antenna connector is also typical for danish sets.
Have a closer look at the scale and look at if some of the station names have danish spelling.
Apparently, the german Telefunken factories stopped delivering complete radios for export sometime around 1941, and the importers in foreign countries were authorized to build sets with Telefunken brand locally. At least such sets made in Sweden by the importer SATT correspond closely to german sets from about 1940-41 regarding the schematic diagram, but the chassis layout and mechanical design are totally different. Key components like variable capacitor, loudspeaker, mains transformer etc look typically swedish, while IF transformers and some RF coils might be of german Telefunken manufacture.

Indeed, definitely danish spelling of station names like Eiffeltaarnet (Eiffel tower) and København (Copenhagen) !
