In my home town’s Electronics Museum is a device or tube, which we don’t safely recognize. On the face there are printings. Radio AG D.S. Loewe, 3N.T(?).W., 4 Volts, 90-200 Volts. Also, the base structure looks very special.

Could this be a multi functions tube of Loewe and if it is what kind of functions/data it shall cover.

Kind regards.

Ake

Hello Ake,

This is probably the multifunction tube 3NFW.

Kind regards, Mark

Hello Ake,

it looks like it is a Loewe 3NFW. Look at the pictures. There are some with the same stamping.

best regards

Giovanni

Hello,

Thank you, Mark and Giovanni of your information and guidance. Certainly, the tube is 3NFW, just F-letter printing was defective. I haven’t seen this kind of Loewe tube earlier but an empty box for similar Loewe tube about ten year ago. Obviously, the tube has been quite valuable and sensitive for damaging because of the box is so massive.

Kind regards

Ake
