Hello,
I currently have an old Grafonola that we pulled out of my partners Grandmothers house.
I am hoping some of you may be able to help identify it and possibly provide a value.
I have received various feedback with general info but no one has been able to provide specific info on this particular model.
Please see below for some pictures.
Thanks,
Scott

Grafonola
Dear Scott
It is your first day as a Radiomuseum..org member. Nice that you already post.
But you start with a very difficult question in a forum that deals mainly with radios.
Therefore I try to help.
Graphophones played both cylinder and 78rpm records and Grafonola is an internal horn phonograph that played 78rpm records.Your set is around 100 years old. It was made by the made by one of the daughters of the Columbia Phonograph Company, perhaps by the American Graphophone Company in Bridgeport, Connecticut.
You can create a model page here, no problem, once you know RMorg a bit more. When you type Grafonola into the "Simple Model search", you get 7 results. The problem is that you don't know the name - and you might use "unknown" for the start. I would suggest you use this model Mignon as a sample, with Columbia Phonograph Co. Inc. as brand.
Later you can tell me to join this article as a sticky article to your model - and perhaps one day we will get more information - perhaps even by a guest who sees your model page.
In the meantime I can only suggest to try some specialized forums (if there are) and to read in the interesting site intertique.com, for instance the article "The Columbia Graphophone and Grafonola -- a beginner's guide - and other articles. I think it is well done.
