There is  a model 6S229A, it has a different power transformer and it could be for export sale. It have diferent voltage to choose Anexos:

This thread can naturally stay as it is. You have correctly put it to the existing model 6S229 and your post will show the reader that there is also a 6S229A and will therefore be able to find the differences etc. You might mention on the notes of your new model that the 6S229 can also be seen.

We consider such models not as variants because they have an otehr "name". If the set would be different but having the same "name" (designation) you would also enter a new model but give it a term in the field "variant".

1936 -1942 Zenith coding: suffix A means AC export model.

The problem is to distinguish from a "normal" photo, which submodel it would be....  They are looking all the same, if there is not a different dial scale. The label is not always shown.

That is just a general problem, not really here in this case..
