There are several 500 versions (no suffix !) with different chassis: 7XT40, 7XT40Z, 7XT40Z1, 7ZT40, and 7ZT40Z1. That makes not less than five circuitry versions for the 500! It got in 1957 a vernier tuning capacitor , a printed circuit board (ZT chasses still equipped with 7 transistors) and redisigned knobs.
