  • After the crystal detector receiver 1001 from 1933, in October 1935, AMA designed and made China's first superheterodyne AM radio, model 1651 with five tubes - with a high profile cabinet. There were about 5 different models AMA 1651, the last, with a low profile cabinet, was made from 1939 to 1941. AMA had to stop its civilian radio production for 1942 to 1945.
