  • Notes
  • The Amazon Fire TV Cube is a voice-controlled streaming media player developed by Amazon.  It's primary use is to serve as a voice-controlled interface between a TV/Home Entertainment System and streaming media content. The Cube connects to the internet via WiFi or ethernet cable and is used to access the Alexa Voice Service and other content.  The device works in a similar manner to the other Amazon Echo Devices, but will not make phone calls.

A remote also is included.  This also has a voice interface, but primarily is used when interacting with the Fire TV interface.  It will not change channels when in TV/cable mode except by using the voice interface.
