-
THIS marvelous new six- tube radio is the master-model of the American Beauty line. The climax of radio engineering! Never has so much value and satisfaction been combined in a radio at such a little price. uilt with the precision of a watch; simplified to the point that a child can operate it; powered to produce a volume and richness of tone heretofore unknown except in the highest priced sets.
The Metropolitan employs the newest achievements of our engineers in the ARL tuned radio frequency circuit, with two stages of resistance amplification and one transformer amplification, developing a low, rich and mellow tone free from distortion and with a remarkable volume.
The cabinet is a beautiful lacquered walnut finish, fittingly framing the rich brilliancy of the bakelite front panel and dials which are illuminated in gold. The cabinet conceals both B and C batteries. Has never before been equaled at the price.
