  • AMi Rowe R-87 Jukebox

    The Rowe R-87 jukebox, also known as the Sapphire 7, is a vinyl record jukebox first released around 1979. It plays 100 records and is known for its reliability, good sound quality, and robust design featuring a 64-watt stereo amplifier with four speakers. The machine has interchangeable parts that were used in several years of Rowe jukebox models, making it easier to repair and maintain.

    This jukebox has features like a bill acceptor, a coin box, and configurable pricing options. It was designed with compartmentalized parts for easy access and serviceability, including a "suitcase" style amplifier that can be swapped out. The R-87 was popular in venues like bowling alleys, offering multiple play options depending on the amount of money inserted. It came in different color styles, including the blue Sapphire 7 and the brown Golden 7.
