  • A stereo hi-fi integrated amplifier with output power of 40 watts per channel into 8 ohms. This model is the successor to the Arcam Alpha 5 Amplifier, the basic circuitry is the same but with electrostatically screened transformers, 2oz copper track instead of 1oz and changes to resistors and capacitors.  With Bass and Treble tone controls and Direct tone bypass switch, Tape Monitor and SP2 switches. RCA input sockets for Video, Tuner,  CD, Aux and Phono (MM cartridge), RCA input/output sockets for tape recorder, RCA output sockets for Aux/Video, binding posts/4mm sockets for 2 pairs of loudspeakers (direct (SP1) and switched (SP2)), and a ¼ inch jack for headphones.
