    Technical Features

    • Input versatility: Supports two magnetic pickups, a crystal pickup, radio, and tape sources, with adjustable input sensitivities and precise matching for various cartridges and sources.
    • Controls: Seven front-panel controls (input, volume, balance, channel selection, treble, bass, filter) allow detailed customisation. Input jacks are colour-coded for channel identification; all sources have pre-set gain controls.
    • Tone & Filtering: Separate bass and treble adjustment, rumble, and top-cut filters for precise tonal shaping and noise suppression. Infinite balance control for channel matching.
    • Construction: Utilises advanced feedback for equalisation (first stage), tone control (second stage), and filter shaping (third stage). Compact, open-chassis layout with neat tag-strip wiring.

    Performance and Testing

    • Measured performance: The pre-amp meets or exceeds the maker’s published specifications, indicating tight manufacturing tolerance and quality.
