    The Astor Model NS was first made in 1951 with the valve lineup of 6U7G 6J8GA 6U7G 6AV6 6V6GT 5Y3GT but as subminiture valves became more available these tubes were replaced. Different valve variants of this model were made through to till 1956.

     
    The Astor Model NS is also referred to as the "DELUXE SIX"
