  • The Audiola model 80 is a four tuned circuit, triple screen grid radio. 4 legged console with stretcher base. Picture is shown in the "Fall and Winter issue 1930-1931 Radio Merchandise Wholesale Catalog" of "The James Bailey Company", 264 Middle Street, Portland, Maine. The Price is $ 119 without tubes but this wholesaler did not stock this model (no wholesale price - see comparison on model 70). Push-pull output with two UX245. In the book "Pre-War Consoles" by Mark V. Stein there is a mismatch of the pictures between model 70 and 80 on page 45 - and both have the chassis series 31 with 7 tubes, not only model 70.
