  • The  Radiair Armoured radio was designed to for rural use. It was constructed in a copper anodised steel box with sprung valve sockets.

    It sold for Aus£47, complete with batteries and Amplion Senior speaker.

    According to an advertisement in The Northern Star, August 4, 1927 Page 7, 5000 units were installed throughout NSW without one failure.
