High Resistance AVO Universal Multimeter: Model 2

The Model 2 shared all of Model 1’s core features and specifications, including the high sensitivity of 20,000 ohms per volt DC and 1,000 ohms per volt AC, as well as the same voltage and DC current ranges. The key distinguishing feature was its extended resistance measurement range from 0.1 Ω up to 20 MΩ, making it better suited for insulation and leakage testing in very high resistance circuits.

Like Model 1, Model 2 included the 5-inch anti-parallax scale, galvanometer zero offset of up to 30% full scale, an automatic overload cut-out, and optional magnetic shielding. It also lacked an AC current range and did not have the "divide by 2" button present in other Avometer versions.

This model maintained the robust design and functionality of Model 1 while expanding resistance measurement capabilities for more specialized and demanding electronic testing applications, especially in the laboratory and workshop.
