  • Notes
  • Battery powered,  AM Signal Generator using a harmonic oscillator.

    Wavebands: 100kHz - 1500kHz.

The Triode Oscillator covers the band, 100kHz to 280kHz. For frequencies to 1500kHz harmonics are used.

Modulation on/off switch adds an extra capacitor on the RF oscillator to create audio frequency instability, "squeeging" of around 500Hz.

Low, Medium and High, RF output levels connectors are available.

Batteries: Probably 2V Lead Acid Gel cell (100mA LT consumption) and 120V Dry Cell HT pack with integral grid tap if required (see Ever Ready Winner 120GB and the Portable 56 for example of taps)
