  • The main part of the cabinet is a cylinder of bamboo 14 inches long and 5 inches in diameter.

    There is no identification on the printed circuit board other than a large letter "C" with a small "e" inside it and the number "75".  The board looks very much like a it was a radio kit for assembly by the buyer.  The parts are a mixture from Japan and the USA.

    As built, the radio had excessive AF gain and distortion.  Considerable negative feedback was added to the AF stages to reduce the distortion to an acceptable level.

    The radio is powered by four D cell batteries.
