  • The P109 has a chassis that seems to be similar to the P107 chassis and it runs the same valves. It has a slightly different case. Inside there is a small M.E.S. lamp that is used as a fuse in the high voltage battery negative line. The negative grid voltages for the AF stage valves are applied from extra batteries. On the front there is the LW-off-MW switch, a tuning knob and a volume knob that controls the variable reaction.
