  • The Berlant model Concertone 1401 Magnetic Tape Recorder consists of a cast-aluminium plate on which are mounted the drive mechanism, power supply and amplifier chassis. The mechanism is designed to record on standard 5" and 7" reels or the professional NAB 10-1/2" reel using the #801 reel adaptor. Speeds: 7-1/2" or 15" per second. Frequency response at 15" per sec. is 50 to 15,000 cycles plus/minus 2 db.
