  • This model "Radio frequency amplifying unit model 5" offers a wave length from 200 to 600 meters and patents are used from RFL. It uses a "Ballantine Variotransformer" model 5 at that time the price was $ 9.60 and it offered a range of 170 to 550 meters (in contrast to the entire set). It seems to us that the first notice was in October QST magazine - for the Ballantine Variotransformer" on page 128. For the full model we show a January 1924 ad.
