  • Notes
  • This is a high end loudspeaker made in a small series (500 pairs) for celebrating the 40 years of the Bowers & Wilkins Company. This model reflects the best of the loudspeaker technology developed by B&W in past 40 years. This model introduces the innovative tweeter with diamond dome. This is a two way loudspeaker: high frequency and bass/midrange, with a specially designed crossover in the frequency of 3.8 kHz. Tweeter case is very rigid made of marble. The midrange/bass loudspeaker cone is made of Kevlar. Body of the loudspeaker is made of curved plywood reinforced by the patented B&W Nautilus structure. Frequency response is: 40 Hz – 28 kHz  ±3 dB on reference axis. Loudspeaker minimum impedance is 4.6 ohm and nominal value is 8 ohm. Harmonic distortion is lower than 1% for the range of frequencies between 80 Hz and 100 kHz. Recommended power amplifier: 50 W to 120 W.
