  • 102E field radio: Frequency range is 1 to 10 MHz for the transmitter and 1 to 12 MHz for the receiver in 3 wave bands. Maximum transmitter output is 10 watts.
    The transmitter has 4 tubes, the receiver has 7 tubes. Radio is powered by batteries and a hand cranked generator. These are two separate units connected together by a cable.
    The radios have been delivered sealed in a wax covered box. It included a Volt/Ohm meter, extra sets of tubes, 2 earphones, code key, microphone, canvas carry bags and 2 antennas.
    The 102 E is said to have been used by the Viet Cong in the Vietnam War.
