• Chicago Radio Apparatus Company "Chi-Rad" K-D Variometer Set included the necessary parts to assemble two variometers and a variocoupler so the user could assemble a three circuit tuner. The set had a range of 150-475 meters. A secondary shunt condenser could be purchased for an additional 35 cents the shunt condenser increased the range to 650 meters.
