The Cliftophone loudspeaker, movement is adjustable and is of the circular iron diaphragm type.
A large wood-grained paper cone diaphragm is attached to the edge of the iron diaphragm and is partly driven and partly directs the vibrations produced by the movement. It is claimed, therefore, that the advantages of the cone and horn-type loudspeakers are combined in one instrument.
The standard model is £3 3s, in Oak, and with an open fret front £3 13s 6d.
