  • This unit is powered strictly from batteries, a complete field unit. It has five frequency ranges 100 kHz - 300 kHz, 300 kHz - 900 khz, 900 kHz - 2500 kHz, 2500 kHz - 9 MHz, 9 MHz - 30 MHz. The frequency ranges are not as well specified as modern units. A hand-written chart accompanies the unit on which the upper and lower frequencies within a switch-selected range do not necessarily overlap to give a complete, calibrated sweep across the entire range of frequencies this unit is theoretically capable of generating.
